For the tenth anniversary of the market launch of KW Height Adjustable Springs, KW is pleased to announce the next generation of height adjustable springs.
In the recent years, we have developed various systems and after extensive road tests and long-term testing select compact and mid-size models can be equipped with our advanced KW height adjustable springs.
The new KW coilover springs are now available for all Audi RS3 models with or without adaptive OEM dampers (Magnetic Ride system) in the 8V series.
The springs allowing you to adjust the stepless lowering of the RS3 between 15 and 25 millimeters at the front axle. At the rear axle height adjustment, the tested lowering range is 5 – 20 millimeters.
The KW height adjustable springs in conjunction with the series dampers on the Audi RS3 provide a harmonious and direct driving behavior. Even in extreme driving maneuvers and sudden load changes, the KW springs with their progressive spring rate increase the agility and ensure a harmonious handling.
The scope of delivery includes all components such as vehicle-specific bump stops, spanner wrench and dust protection elements as well as the technical component report. The installation can be carried out in any specialist workshop or tire shop and doesn’t take any longer then installing conventional lowering springs.
The variable scope of the lowering range offers a great advantage when changing the wheel-tyre combination, the lowering can be adapted to match the new rims with just a few simple steps. This is not possible with conventional springs.
KW Coilover Kits increases the handling and stance
For all owners who want more as an understated lowering by springs we developed different coilover kits like the adaptive KW DDC ECU suspension kit with Smartphone App Control and the KW Variant 3 coilover kit that is independently adjustable in compression and rebound damping.
We also developed the KW Clubsport 3-way coilover kit, adjusted individually in rebound stage (16 clicks) as well as in low speed (6 clicks) and high speed compression stages (14 clicks), particularly for drivers who want to take their Audi RS3 to track day events. Our KW Clubsport coilovers differentiate from conventional suspensions because its basic setup was designed for the use of semi slick tires and features racing springs.
